The Challenge

Following a merger of Mylan and Upjohn to form Viatris, development of EHS standards, reporting requirements, and key metrics was critical to drive EHS performance. The challenge was to merge performance expectations from the two legacy companies as well as develop aspirational EHS metrics that could be relied on to show true EHS performance regardless of local regulatory reporting and record- keeping differences. The project was EHS standards alignment was fast-tracked to have consistent standards and metrics reporting in place within the first 12 months after integration at more than 50 manufacturing and R&D locations worldwide.

The Solution

The Catalyst Group led coordinated with corporate and site-based EHS environmental subject matter experts from both legacy companies to harmonize and develop new company EHS standards and metrics reporting across all EHS environmental programs.
